Working to Avoid Allergen-Related Recalls
Last year, undeclared allergens were the single largest cause for food recalls, accounting for 42% of the FDA’s 134 recalls. In response to the problem, the Food Marketing Institute food protection committee has named allergens a key issue for 2014.
