Updates from the RDBA Office
There’s always something new happening at the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance, and today, we wanted to provide you with some quick updates.
Refreshed Newsletter Format
We’re hoping it caught your eye right away when the newsletter arrived in your inbox today! We’ve taken out newsletter segments that weren’t of interest to you and reformatted the newsletter to make it more user-friendly and eye-catching. Even better is that we changed to a new service provider, which more effectively manages spam. Don’t hesitate to let us know what you think of the new format, and please do pass the newsletter on to your peers urging them to sign up for their own subscription.
Social Media Activation
We openly admit we’ve been just a bit slow to the party, but please know that it wasn’t because we didn’t think connecting with you in the various venues – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube – was important. We love every aspect of connecting with retail RDs and are now increasing our activity on social media to engage with you in this space. Please “like” our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter.
Yes, we’ll be at FNCE
Plans are coming together quickly for an event exclusively for retail dietitians on October 3. We’ll blend professional and personal development with great networking time for a perfect evening. If you are a retail dietitian attending FNCE and would like more details on the event when they are available, please email annette@retaildietitians.com.
The Latest and Greatest in Retail RD Education
In July, we launched EduTrac® online training modules designed specifically to provide core industry and business content for retail dietitians. The first module, Maximizing Your Health and Wellness Impact through Sampling Programs is available here. Remember that you have to be signed in as a “member” to access this part of the website. The response has been impressive, and we’ve received many ideas for future EduTrac® modules. Stay tuned for more to come!
