RDBA Webinar: The Impact of Nutrition Label Reform on the Retail Industry
Consumer eating habits have dramatically changed since the Nutrition Facts Panel was introduced in the early 1990’s. We know more about the relationship between nutrients and health conditions. Portion sizes consumed have increased. Completely new categories of products are now available on the grocery store shelf. For this reason, the FDA has proposed a major overhaul to the nutrition label, for which public comment is due on June 2, 2014. During this webinar, our panel of experts will share their insight into the key elements of the label reform, explain the label reform process, and address the potential impact of these changes on the retail industry.
