Seeking RDBA Members with Elevator Speeches
On January 16, RDBA hosted the webinar Creating Your Professional Brand. The turnout and response by you, our members, was fantastic. One element of the presentation that intrigued you was the elevator speech discussion.
An elevator speech is a short statement about you and the value proposition you bring to your company. The statement got its name as it should be quick enough to communicate in a short elevator ride and impactful enough to grab the attention of a captive audience. It can be used to build your reputation as a successful business person in discuss with your company leadership, at vendor meetings or in networking sessions.
RDBA is looking for a few members to share their elevator speeches as examples to all our members. If you have an elevator speech—or if this opportunity will motivate you to develop one—that you’d be willing to share, please contact RDBA Executive Director, Annette Maggi, at annette@retaildietitians.com by Friday, February 7th, 2014. We’ll then work with you to schedule a remote video session to record your elevator speech.
