Presenter: Jessica Brady hails from a farm in Canada’s prairie region. She has been with Okanagan Specialty Fruits for 2 years and is currently in the role of Manager, Industry Relations and Education. Jessica first gained an appreciation for agriculture while working with large animals in high school and went on to complete her undergraduate and master’s degrees in agriculture at the University of Manitoba. As a town kid, learning more about agriculture made her realise how much misinformation there is about how our food is grown, and has worked to dispel agriculture myths ever since. Jessica is passionate about sharing the story of agriculture, and loves science, her dog, and nature.
