
RDBA Launches Podcasts Series with There’s an Apple for That Podcast
With a mission to foster the continuing business education and career development of current and future retail dietitians, the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance is continually evolving to provide you with insightful content and education through the latest methods. We thrilled to announce that in 2019, we’ll now be providing content for retail dietitians as part of Phil Lempert’s Lost in the Supermarket Podcast series.
In our first podcast, titled There’s an Apple for That, RDBA CEO Phil Lempert joins Brianna Shales of Stemilt Growers in Wenatchee, WA and award-winning Seattle Chef Ethan Stowell to talk about how new apples come to be, where they get their wild brand names, how there’s an apple for every purpose and why some are better for snacking on while others can withstand kitchen heat. Honeycrisp, Fuji, SweeTango, Piñata, Rave and more…the apple category in your supermarkets is getting crowded.
