As we continue to work to best meet retail dietitians’ professional needs, we have several newsworthy updates to share with you our valued members, which are:

RDBA Releases New Podcast
Our latest podcast, A Transparent Harvest – Sourcing U.S. soybeans for Tofu Production, is now available for your listening pleasure. Almost half of U.S. land is devoted to farming, and soybeans are the largest crop grown on U.S. soil, surpassing corn for the very first time.  As the demand for clean labels and clean ingredients sourced from the U.S. continues to rise, transparency in food and farming is no longer optional, it’s expected. This podcast discusses full transparency in soybean production, practices and the creation of soy-based products, like tofu. You can access this newly released podcast at Buzzsprout, Apple, Soundcloud, and Stitcher.

Retail RDs for Hire
Are you a dietitian interested in transitioning into a retail role? The Retail Dietitians Business Alliance is committed to helping retailers identify and hire top talent and to assisting dietitians with securing and building successful, satisfying careers in the retail industry. To this end, we’ve added a new service – Retail RDs for Hire – to our website. This page provides insights to help RDs position themselves for retail roles and the opportunity for those pursuing roles in retail dietetics to post resumes for access by hiring managers. What’s In Store Save the Date
If you’re planning to attend FNCE in Philadelphia, mark your calendar for the evening of Saturday, October 26th and plan to attend RDBA’s What’s In Store event, exclusively for retail dietitians. By attending the event, you’ll have the opportunity to network with retail RDs across North America, to discuss promotions and new products with event sponsors, enjoy an open bar and amazing food, and be inspired by presentations from colleagues. More details and registration for the event will be provided in late August.
