Catching on to Cooking More Seafood: Starkist Recipe Contest
Grand Prize: $1,000 stipend to education conference of your choice!
Today’s hectic lifestyles mean consumers continually seek ways to make the healthy choice the easy choice. StarKist® is partnering with retail dietitians on this demo recipe contest to showcase their Tuna and Salmon Pouch products – convenient, healthy, and the perfect solution for shoppers fueling their on-the-go lifestyles.
In entering this contest you have the chance to showcase how well you understand your shopper by creating an easy-to-demo recipe with five ingredients or less that is ideal for on-the-go lifestyles. A grand prize of a $1,000 travel stipend for an education conference of your choice will be awarded to the winning recipe; two first prize winners will also be selected, each receiving a $250 travel stipend for an education conference. Recipes will be judged on use of the StarKist® pouch products, suitability for demoing, alignment with current food trends, and use of five ingredients or less by a panel of RDBA Advisory Board members and the StarKist® team. To enter the contest, submit the following information by 11:50 pm EST on February 14, 2018 at https://www.retaildietitians.com/forms/starkist/:
- Name, credentials, title, retailer, e-mail address of submitter.
- Category of the recipe (breakfast, snack, appetizer, etc.).
- Name and short description of recipe, recipe in demo format. Exact ingredient measurements should be listed and equipment needed for recipe included.
- If nutrition analysis software is available, please provide nutrition for one serving of the recipe.
- A photo of the recipe.
