If your conference plans this year include the Food and Nutrition Conference and Exposition (FNCE) in Washington, DC this October, then save the evening of October 20th for What’s in Store.
This annual event, hosted by the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance and Fleishman Hillard, is exclusive to retail dietitians, creating an opportunity for customized education, networking with industry colleagues, and engagement with sponsors interested in partnering with retail RDs. It’s an event you won't want to miss; in fact, 96% of last year’s attendees indicated they would recommend What’s In store to other retail RDs. Nearly 90% of retail RD attendees attend the event for the opportunity to both network with other supermarket dietitians and to hear professional development presentations. Eighty-eight percent of attendees indicated they could immediately use information shared by event sponsors in their work.
One 2017 event attendee commented, “This is a great event! The organizers did a fantastic job of including a wide variety of sponsors who were able to communicate their messages and products. Looking back at the Expo at FNCE compared to this event, this event was much better! The size of the event made it easier to spend time with each vendor, and supermarket dietitians are in a unique position to hear messages that these sponsors wanted to share. Great evening!”
This year’s event will be held at the Spy Museum, conveniently located to the convention center.
