2016 RDBA Salary Survey Now Open

2016 RDBA Salary Survey Now Open

August 10, 2016

In 2014 and as a service to our members, the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance launched the first ever salary survey of retail registered dietitians. Now, in 2016, we are repeating this survey to benchmark against the 2014 data and understand movement that has been made in compensation amongst retail dietitians over the past two years. Not only is this data important for retail RDs, but also for Human Resource departments and program leaders involved in the hiring processes. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

All data submitted in the survey is treated with the strictest confidentiality, and it will be aggregated with the other information submitted. No individual chains will be named in the results.

For all those who respond to the final question of the survey, we’ll conduct a prize drawing, awarding one individual up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement for FNCE 2016 or the Food & Culinary Professionals Culinary Workshop scheduled in March of 2017.

When responding to survey questions, please provide answers effective on May 30, 2016.

Please also note that the survey data will be reported in compliance with the following guidelines issued by the Department of Justice and Fair Trade Commission for similar surveys of health care providers: (1) it is being conducted by a third party (RDBA); (2) any data disseminated to the RDBA members will be at least 3 months old; (3) each disseminated statistic will be based on responses from at least five members, none of which will represent more than 25% of that statistic on a weighted basis; and (4) all information disseminated will be sufficiently aggregated such that it will not allow members to identify the prices charged or compensation received by any individual member. The survey is not intended in any way to encourage or facilitate any discussion or collusion among RDBA members with respect to the prices they charge or the compensation they receive.
